A little introduction :-)

I'm really not expecting anyone to read this, but if you are then a big "Hello"! This is something I've thought about doing for a while, and have finally decided to stop thinking and start Doing! The fact that I started thinking about this when I turned 40, and that I'm now 41 (!) may have something to do with it - as does the fact that I'm now the owner of a lovely shiny iPad :-) Now I can Blog whenever I like! So, a little bit about me... You already know I'm 41, and I should also clarify that I'm female (although perhaps you'd already assumed?? How presumptuous of you!). I work in marketing and love writing and socialising - and pampering myself! So you can now see why this Blog came about :-) Turning 40 wasn't the horrific experience I thought it would be - partly because (so I'm told) I don't look my age. Good genes?? The fact that I've used eye cream since I was 18?? (thanks mum!) Who knows. But I am fully aware that once we hit a certain age we have to accept that we have to start looking after ourselves. And that what we could get away with in our 20's and 30's has to be Reconsidered somewhat once there's a 4 at the start of our age!! So that's what this blog will be about. I'm a bit of a beauty junkie - I've tried them all...some work, some don't. Some are cheap treasured finds and some are payday-only treats. But I hope that this will be an honest review of what works and doesn't work on our slightly more mature bodies (note I'm not using the word old!!). God knows if anyone will stumble across this but here goes....!! ;-) 40SBG
